Expertise in Action: Quecon Delivers Critical FAA Modernization Training

At Quecon, our expertise goes beyond meeting contract requirements — it’s about providing leadership and insight on projects of national importance. This quarter, Bob Lincoln, who has supported the FAA for over 48 years and been a valued member of Quecon for more than two, delivered a series of highly anticipated orientation sessions on the FAA’s transition from Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) to ASTERIX data formats — a modernization effort of critical national significance.

Bob’s ability to simplify complex technical concepts gave attendees a clear view of the entire radar data journey, from initial feed to its final destination at ARTCC, TRACON, and ATCT facilities. His sessions weren’t just briefings — they were masterclasses in clarity and communication, featuring a 24-foot-long display of operational equipment that offered a rare hands-on look at the tools and processes shaping the future of radar communication.

This work reflects more than individual excellence; it demonstrates how Quecon consistently delivers specialized expertise, hands-on training, and impactful leadership. Bob’s contributions embody the Quecon standard and underscore our role as a trusted FAA partner in advancing America’s critical aviation infrastructure.
