The brief

A second year of recognition

Quecon was named one of NJBIZ’s Best Places to Work in New Jersey for 2026 in the Medium Company category.

More than 1,000 pounds donated

Our employees contributed food and essential non-food items to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey across the spring and summer.

Our people at the center

We celebrated Fran Ebert, Daulton McKelvey and Rob Cleary as our July, August and September Employees of the Month.

From a second consecutive NJBIZ Best Places to Work recognition to community fundraisers and time together in Alaska, the third quarter brought plenty to celebrate at Quecon. Here is a look at the people and activities that shaped our quarter, plus the community initiatives we are preparing for this fall.

01 / LEADERSHIP

A message from our CEO

As Quecon enters the final quarter of 2026, President and CEO Jim Crowell is reflecting on a year of growth and the employees who made it possible. Following a major contract award in March and a successful workforce transition, our team has continued to strengthen programs and customer relationships.

“Our growth has always been about more than winning contracts. It is about delivering on our commitments once we win them.”

Jim Crowell, President and CEO

Looking toward 2027, Jim sees opportunities to expand Quecon’s capabilities and federal presence while creating new opportunities for employees. His message also recognizes the contributions of colleagues supporting customers, leading teams, pursuing new business and keeping corporate operations moving.

02 / WORKPLACE RECOGNITION

NJBIZ Best Places to Work for a second year

Quecon was named one of the NJBIZ Best Places to Work in New Jersey for 2026 in the Medium Company category. This is our second consecutive year receiving the recognition.

We are proud of this achievement and grateful to the employees who make Quecon a place where people support their coworkers and customers. Their dedication and teamwork shape our culture every day.

03 / TEAM BUILDING

Team building in Alaska

An Alaska fishing trip gave members of the Quecon team a chance to spend time together outside their day-to-day work. It was an opportunity to build connections through a shared adventure.

04 / INDUSTRY CONNECTIONS

Connecting at FAA Small Business Day

On July 8, Quecon participated in the William J. Hughes Technical Center Small Business Event, sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration. The event gave us an opportunity to meet small businesses, reconnect with customers and get to know potential teaming partners interested in future Federal Aviation Administration opportunities.

05 / COMMUNITY FOODBANK OF NEW JERSEY

Supporting the Community FoodBank of New Jersey

Across the spring and summer, Quecon employees donated more than 1,000 pounds of food and essential non-food items to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. Thank you to everyone who contributed.

That support will continue in October as our team takes part in the sixth annual Great Big Diaper Drive, collecting diapers, baby wipes and creams.

06 / LOOKING AHEAD

Looking ahead with Big Brothers Big Sisters

In November, Quecon will collect hats and gloves for children ages 6 through 18 in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters. The collection will also include juice boxes and individually wrapped snacks for distribution at the organization’s party. We look forward to coming together for this effort later in the fall.

07 / COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Cancer Support Community of New Jersey

Quecon sponsored the 2026 Dragon Boat Festival fundraiser in July, benefiting Cancer Support Community of New Jersey. We were glad to support this annual event and the organization’s work in our community.

08 / GIVING BACK TOGETHER

Coming together for Funny Farm Rescue

Quecon sponsored a golf outing supporting Funny Farm Rescue, bringing together employees from our EPICS, SLE and corporate teams. Funny Farm Rescue helps more than 600 animals live safe, healthy lives. We were glad to support that work while spending time together as a team.
